PT Resident, MScPT, BSc (Kin)

Registered Physiotherapy Resident

Julia graduated with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McGill University. Throughout her undergraduate years, she worked as a personal trainer, which sparked her interest in patient care and deepened her appreciation for the benefits of exercise. These early experiences ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy.
Julia treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sprains and strains, post-operative rehabilitation, overuse injuries, joint pain, and more. Her treatment approach combines patient education, exercise therapy, manual techniques, soft tissue work, and individualized goal setting. She is dedicated to helping her patients return to the activities they love and believes in creating long-term strategies for recovery and injury prevention.
During her time in school, Julia worked on and off at Alton Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic as a Physiotherapy Assistant and is excited to now be part of the team full-time as a Physiotherapy Resident.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys working out, hiking, travelling, and spending time with her family, friends and dog.
