Physiotherapy Resident
Tania is a Physiotherapy Resident who has always been passionate to pursue sport and activity including running and volleyball. Tania graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Physiology Specialization) also at McMaster University. Throughout her schooling, Tania was endlessly curious to understand how the human body functions and adapts. In combination with her passion for sport and activity, Tania challenges each scenario with a research and evidence-based mindset to assist every individual on their journey back to sport and activity.
Tania incorporates a manual hands-on, exercise, and education approach to maximize pain relief, recovery, and prevention of further injuries. She also believes in teaching self-management techniques to empower individuals to actively participate in their recovery outside the clinic. Every individual has unique circumstances and Tania will work with you to determine the effective treatment and prevention plan that suits your needs.
Tania understands the burden of injury and the barrier it places on your participation. Thus, she is driven to work with every individual to achieve their specific goals. Tania believes in applying a research-based approach to assist you and encourages every person to ask as many questions as they can think of!
Beyond the clinic, Tania enjoys walking everywhere she can, going for runs, and spending time with friends and family.
